FRIENDS

Free from the bond of sin
Owing all things to God
Received a gift of grace

Rewarded in Heaven
Increasing in Spirit
Coming to give much praise
Helping others to give

In freedom from the rod
Now having time to live

Ending wrong things to win
New things that are given
Doing good to limit

Needing to slow-down pace
Offering self all days
Withdrawing right to drive

Done when letting God raise
One from dead within it

Sowing seeds for Heaven
Acting only for race
Coming back home to nod
Kicking back deeds of sin
