Waiting for Eternity

Held now on Earth to accomplish God’s will
Longing ever to join loved ones above
Also mentioning the free gift of love
Meditating long for Heaven’s great fill
And life may frequently seem very ill
Old and young may both depart like a dove
Laboring dialing can act as a shove
End rewards can be hard to wait until
Invincible over problems comes God
Reviving lives through the Spirit’s Power
Leading liberally to Heaven’s sod
Declared independence to this hour
Leading all the redeemed home with a nod
Nurturing His saints like a hot shower
